Ben (BK) is the founder of BKAthletics/CrossFit Performance. He spends each day on the gym floor training individuals to look their best and perform their best. Ben has 30+ years of both Playing and Coaching Rugby League at a Professional Level. Ben came to the USA in 2003 to play Rugby League and to help bring it to the forefront of Sport here in the states. Ben is a two-time CrossFit Games Athlete, 2016 (45-49yrs) and 2021 (50-54yrs), he loves the challenge in addition to the comradery that sport and competition brings. He has vast experience in both teaching and coaching individuals, teams, and athletes. Ben's passion is helping people grow through fitness and lifestyle changes that enable people to realize their true potential of living a healthy, vibrant life.
Ben believes that competition is the essence of life. We as human beings are resilient and need to step out of our comfort zones in order to grow. Whether it be a competition that 'scares' you or being 'uncomfortable' in training hard at the gym - we reap gains both physically and mentally that build profound experiences and character.
